This new set of light weight filters make it easy to refine that scope in real time without rewriting prompts, modifying the data model, or creating permanent filters. Chat Filters allow constraints to be applied directly to an analysis so results stay contextualized and focused as the analysis evolves.

• ‍Fine Tuned Filtering in Chat: Chat Filters allow you to select fields directly from your knowledge base and apply specific values as constraints. These filters are injected directly into the SQL that Lumi generates, ensuring the analysis is scoped exactly as intended.‍
• Conversation Scoped Control: Filters apply only within the active conversation. This provides precise control over how data is queried without changing the underlying schema or creating persistent filters that affect other analyses.‍
• Visible and Verifiable SQL: After running an analysis, you can examine the generated SQL to see exactly where and how filters were applied. This maintains transparency and trust while allowing teams to validate results.
